Один в Затоне
Возле двухэтажного барака, где живет Алексей Васильевич, спилен огромный тополь. Чурки и ветки никто не вывез. Так и лежат, перегораживая единственный путь для пенсионера на улицу. Но не только дерево можно вот так спилить в мгновение ока. Это случилось и с самим Алексеем Васильевичем.
Всю свою жизнь он проработал слесарем на Моторном. Вставал пораньше и добирался из Затона на другой конец города. Скромный, дружелюбный, непьющий, свою единственную он так и не встретил. Но ни на что не жалуется. Со всеми домашними делами справляется сам.
– Вот суп себе сварил. Простой конечно, но мне хватает. – говорит Алексей Васильевич и ставит небольшую кастрюльку на стол. И тут же открывает печку и подбрасывает полено в топку.
Справляется ловко, но дается это огромным трудом. Всё это Алексей Васильевич делает одной рукой. Весной у него случился инсульт. Возвращался из больницы, присел на лавочку и… Хорошо, соседи быстро заметили и вызвали скорую. Так к его инвалидности добавился паралич левой стороны тела. Функция левой руки так и не восстановилась.
Колет дрова, бросает уголь, варит, стирает – единственной рабочей правой рукой. Раньше хотя бы машинка стиральная была. Забросил вещи, нажал на кнопку и готово. Но машинка сломалась. И Алексей Васильевич приноровился к ручной, а точнее однорукой, стирке.
Сейчас в комнате тепло. Но дом Алексея Васильевича промерзает снизу. Чтобы хоть как-то прогреть комнаты, за зиму уходит 2 машины угля. Одна до Нового года, вторая – после.
Дрова пока есть. Срубленного тополя хватит надолго. Жаль, когда его рубили, не подумали, как одинокий человек, опирающийся на трость и с параличом после инсульта, будет перепрыгивать через разбросанные по двору чурки. Уже скоро все это обрастет льдом и снегом и полностью перегородит тропинку на улицу.
Родня у дедушки есть, но живут не с ним. Сестра в Змеиногорске. Звонит часто, но приехать возможности не имеет. Брата недавно, как и Алексея Васильевича, сразил инсульт. И тоже паралич.
У Алексея Васильевича вообще как-то всё отдельно. Даже подъезд отдельный ото всех, ведущий не во двор, а на улицу. И квартира в подъезде тоже одна. Но к заботам одинокой жизни он уже привык. Даже крошечную пенсию умудряется распланировать так, что на всё хватает.
Но всё же рука одна. И помощь нужна. Есть вещи, которые он физически из-за своего недуга сделать не может. Например, помыть окна и пол. Очистить двор от веток и распилить чурки. Поэтому нам очень нужна ваша волонтерская помощь! Если у вас есть несколько часов свободного времени, этого будет достаточно, чтобы помочь.
Что нужно сделать:
– Сделать самую обычную уборку. Помыть пол, окна, протереть пыль. Для этого нужно захватить с собой необходимые моющие средства и тряпку. Ведра и тазик у дедушки есть.
– Помочь распилить, разрубить дрова и расчистить дорожку на улицу. Объем работы виден на фотографии. Можно помочь частью работ.
– Возможно, найдется волонтер, который справится с диагностикой стиральной машинки – посмотрит и подскажет, что именно нужно чинить. Если удастся ее и отремонтировать – это очень поможет облегчить дедушке жизнь.
Все мы помним, какими бы энергичными и здоровыми мы ни были сейчас, всех нас ждет старость с ее проблемами. И ни у кого нет страхового полиса от одиночества.

Near the two-storied barrack, where Alexey Vasilievich lives, a huge poplar is cut down. No one have taken chocks and branches out. And they lie, blocking the only way for the pensioner to go outside .But not only the tree can be cut down in the blink of an eye. That happened with Alexey Vasilievich himself.
All his life he worked as a mechanic at the motor factory. He got up early and traveled from Zaton to the other end of the city. Modest, friendly, teetotal, his only one he never met. But he doesn`t complain about anything. With all the domestic chores he copes himself.
“I`ve cooked soup for myself. It`s simple of course, but that`s enough for me”. – says Alexei Vasilievich and puts a small saucepan on the table. And then, he opens the stove and throws a log into the furnace.
He copes skillfully, but it is given with great difficulty. All this Alexei Vasilievich does with one hand. In spring, he suffered a stroke. He came back from the hospital, sat down on the bench and … Well, the neighbors noticed quickly and called an ambulance. So, paralysis of the left side of the body to his disability was added . The function of the left arm hasn`t been restored.
He chops firewood, throws coal, boils, erases –with the only working right hand. Before, the washing machine was at least. He threw things, pressed the button and it was ready. But the machine broke. And Alexey got used to manual, or rather one-handed, washing.
Now the room is warm. But the house of Alexei Vasilievich freezes from below. To warm up the rooms somehow, he needs 2 cars of coal for the winter. One before the New Year, and the second after.
Firewood is while there. The cut-down poplar will last for a long time. It is a pity, when it was cut, they did not think how the lonely man, leaning on a cane and with a paralysis after a stroke, will jump over the chocks scattered on the yard. All this will become covered with ice and snow soon and block the path to the street completely.
Our grandfather has a family, but they do not live with him. His sister is in Zmeinogorsk. She calls often, but does not have an opportunity to come. Recently, the brother was struck a stroke, like Alexey Vasilevich. And also paralysis.
In general, at Alexey Vasilevich everything is separately. Even the the path is separate from everybody, leading not to the yard, but to the street. And also there is one apartment in the entrance. But he has already got used to the worries of his lonely life. He manages to plan even a tiny pension, so that everything is enough.
But nevertherless, the hand is one. And the help is necessary. There are things that he can`t do physically , because of his illness. For example,to wash the windows and the floor. To clean the yard from branches and saw chocks. Therefore, we really need your volunteer help! If you have a few hours of free time, this will be enough to help.
What should be done:
– To make the most common cleaning. To wash the floor, the windows, wipe the dust. To do this, you need to take with you the necessary detergents and a rag. Buckets and a basin the grandfather have.
– To help saw, chop firewood and clear the path to the street. The amount of work is visible on the photo. You can help a part of works.
– May be there will be a volunteer who will cope with the diagnosis of the washing machine – he will look and tell us what we should repair. If it is possible to repair it, it will be great help and it will facilitate the grandfather’s life.
We all remember, however energetic and healthy we are now, old age with its problems waits for each of us . And no one has an insurance policy from loneliness.
